Collection of French and Italian arias, probably copied by one experimenting hand. In some cases decorative initial letters were completed. A Chinese inscription on fol. i is translated 'Being poor, I copied it out'.
Mostly anonymous but contains, from J. B. Lully's Armide, 'Plus j'observe ces lieux et plus je les admire' [LWV 71/35] (fols. 4-6), and 'Les plaisirs ont choisi pour asile' [LWV 71/62] (fols. 9r-9v), and 'Qui goûte de ce eaux ne peut plus se défendre', from Rolande [LWV 65/41] (fols. 8r-8v), and A. Stradella's[?] 'Amor che nel mio petto' (fols. 37v-41) [Gianturca 10-12] (fols. 37v-41).
