29 Italian arias and cantatas, mostly by composers from Rome, copied by one constant Italian hand c 1700. (See MS. Mus. e. 46 which is in the same hand.)
Ascriptions to Bernardo Pasquini, to Cosimo Bani, to Giovanni Bicilli, to Alessandro Scarlatti, and 'di Venezzia' [Gaetano Veneziano?] were added on fols. 1, 6, 10, 13, 88, 104 and 126v. Other composers represented include Antonio Gianettini, Giovanni Battista Tomasi, Alessandro Melani and Pietro Simone Agostini. Most pieces lack the intended decorative initial letters.

Probably two uniform volumes (fols. 1-51 and 52-17) bound together. Watermarks: fleur-de-lys, countermark CDG, somewhat resembling Heawood 1796. Ruling 4 staves, red marginal ruling. Binding: calf, gold fillets and ornament.
