Antiquarian notes, drafts of letters to public papers, such as on the preservation of churches and their records (fol. 50) with notes on attempted restorations, as at Eton College Chapel (fol. 147): schemes of foreign tours (fol. 167) and the like, partly in the hand of J. Gough Nichols. Fols. 39-47 are some extracts and notes in the hand of Thomas Martin of Palgrave, one dated 1753.
