The accounts of the Gentleman's Magazine, relative to the payment of contributors, from Jan. 1834 to June 1851, with a few letters and leceipts, all addressed to John Bowyer Nichols, the chief proprietor of the Magazine. The rate of payment was 6.?. 3d. a page, and the names of the payees are given. John Bruce and John Gough Nichols shared in the editing from about 1849.
