Poem headed 'Iter Lancastrense Richardi Jamesii', printed for the Chetham Society in 1845 by the rev. Thomas Corser: beg. 'High Holte of woods or haye enclosd with woods'. At p. 10 is the note 'hoc iter Lancastrense fecit scripsitque Richardus Jamesius Vectensis anno domini 1636'.
