She visited Brockley hall (mrs. Ann Smyth Pigott: see fol. 5) and South Wraxall (miss Caroline Pigott), and many family details are recorded. At fol. 15 is a 'List of portraits at Mr. Beckfords house in Bath.' At fol. 34v rev. are some extracts from letters to mrs. Helene Sharples, and copies of some verses by the latter.
