An abstract of the Valor ecclesiasticus of 1534 followed by (p. 231) 'A perfect narrative of the full proceeding in the Court Military before the Lord High Constable of England, betwixt Donald [Mackay] lord Rea[y] and David Ramsey esqr upon a tryall by combate', A.D. 1631, being apparently a copy of the record of the court, with more information than is contained in the printed version in Howell's State Trials, iii. 486-519.
