The only personal names of writers are Hallur Magnusson (fol. 5) and Gudmundur Þordarsson (fol. 18).

Throughout the book are notes and small indexes by Jón Olafsson de Grunnavica: and some short poems are interspersed.

A probably unique MS., the autograph of the translator.

A catalogue by Magnusen, dated 1828, is in the Library, and was printed in 1832 with the title 'Catalogus...codicum cliii manuscriptorum Borealium præcipuæ Islandicæ originis, ...autcore... Finno Magnæo, Islando'.
