An account by Twyne of the quarrel between the houses of York and Lancaster (p. 1) followed by a few rough notes (p. 22), and (p. 51), in a different hand, 'Armes of English families noble and gentill alphabetically gathered' with sketches of seals, taken (p. 54) from 'Mr Gerard's booke'.
At p. 262 is a copy by Twyne of dr. Eedes's poem 'Iter Boreale', beg. 'Quid mihi cum Musis ? Quid cum Borealibus oris ?' P. 298 has 'The Earles of Salisbury his ten precepts to his son', beg. 'Sun Robert, pe virtuius inclination of thy matchles mother'.
