Comprises:

  1. (MS. Mus. d. 188) 18th-century Italian music, 1776. Music copied from Le Delizie dell' Opera, 1776 and (p. 43) the Miserere of Tommaso Bai. Leaves towards the end of the volume were used at different dates for notes on musical theory. On p. 60 is a copy of T. Morley's sentence, 'I am the resurrection'. 69 pages.
  2. (MS. Mus. d. 189) Arias by Alessandro Scarlatti and Leonardo Leo, copied from manuscripts in the British Museum, and an aria by Bononcini, transposed, unfinished. 9 leaves.
  3. (MS. Mus. d. 190) Copies of Italian church music and other polyphonic music from manuscripts in the British Museum and other sources. On fols. 72v-3 is an 'Exercise in Mode ii. H. E. Wooldridge June 1892'. 74 leaves.
  4. (MS. Mus. d. 192) Carissimi, oratorio, 'Daniel', and 2 motets from manuscripts in the Bodleian Library, dated May 1877, but apparently copied later partly from MS. Mus. d. 194, 1877. 116 pages.
  5. (MS. Mus. d. 193) Italian music and a duet from Handel's Giulio Cesare, copied from manuscripts and printed books in the British Museum. 31 leaves.
