Copies of letters and papers chiefly from, and all connected with, Johan van der Kerckhoven, baron of Heenvliet, 1641/2-51, addressed to the king and queen of England, the successive princes of Orange, etc.: some are from Heenvliet's wife, lady Katherine Stanhope, afterwards countess of Chesterfield, 1644-50. A few are in Dutch, the rest in French.
