Calendar, vol. i., papers nos. 2551-2739. In 2605 for 'Hyde' read 'Forde', but both 2604 and 2605 are signed 'J. [or P] N.': 2614 is from London, Sept. 6: in 2616 read 'Sir Thomas Fairfax and Cromwell': 2709-10, 2715, 2739 belong to 1648/9.
Part of the chronological series of Clarendon State Papers, dealing chiefly with English history from 1608 to 1689, with a few earlier and later. The printed Calendar, see introduction, stops at the end of 1657, but is continued in manuscript as far as about 1663. The papers themselves are from almost all parts of the successive Clarendon donations.
