Calendar, vol. i., papers nos. 1580-1666. In the calendar of no. 1663, the last words should run 'and win Mr. Morgan to the cause by reconciling lord Herbert to him': no. 1666 is dated Mar. 15, not 25. See MS. Clarendon 91. See MS. Clarendon 98.
Part of the chronological series of Clarendon State Papers, dealing chiefly with English history from 1608 to 1689, with a few earlier and later. The printed Calendar, see introduction, stops at the end of 1657, but is continued in manuscript as far as about 1663. The papers themselves are from almost all parts of the successive Clarendon donations.
