Comprises:

  1. (fol. 1) (first half of the 13th cent.) The Rule of St. Benedict, in French: beg. 'Hui commenca nostre sire seint Beneiet a doctriner et a amonnesteir nos': ends abruptly, some leaves having been lost, 'par les deiens par les', in the section about the prior
  2. (fol. 37) The Psalter and (fol. 73v) (first half of the 12th cent. ?) Canticles, in French, accented for reading: beg. 'Beneurez li huem chi ne alat el conseil des feluns.' Facsimiles of part of fol. 37 are in the printed edition of this MS. by Francisque Michel (Oxf. 1860), and in Westwood's Palœographia Sacra Pictoria (1843-5): see also S. Berger, Bible Française (1884), p. 412. Douce has prefixed at fol. ii a glossary to this Psalter, and other notes, and fol. xx is stated to be a note by J. White, of Newgate St., London.
