History of Normandy, volume one, written in 1792 in London
First volume of 'Roman [de Rou et] des Ducs de Normandie par maitre Wace', 'Histoire de Normandie ... copiée ... en 1792', from Brit. Mus. MS. Royal 4 C. xi, which contains the third part of the Roman de Rou: beg. 'Pour remembrer des ancesurs', l. 10 is 'Ki de viez tens sunt trépassés.' The vol. ends at l. 5416 ('Tant com le concile dura') of Andresen's edition. There are also a few notes, and an accidental paper (fol. 199) on the horse Eclipse. The transcript may have been made for 'Mr de La Frenaye', whose name is on the binding.
