At end:--'Ci faut le Romanz de Renaut. | Qui boens est & maint bon denier vaut': the romance of Renaut de Montauban, in French verse, closely connected with the Quatre filz Aymon. Imperfect at beginning, the fifth line on fol. 1 beginning 'Tant fil de gentil home ot la teste coupee.' A letter from J. C. Matthes of Groningen, July 11, 1875, in English, about the MS. is at fol. iii.

The binding (about A.D. 1800 ?) bears the arms of the family of Goldsmid of Palmeira.
