Imperfect at beginning, the fifth line on fol. 1 beginning 'Tant fil de gentil home ot la teste coupee.' A letter from J. C. Matthes of Groningen, July 11, 1875, in English, about the MS. is at fol. iii.
The binding (about A.D. 1800 ?) bears the arms of the family of Goldsmid of Palmeira.
