Copies of two letters by 'Monsieur de Chasteuil', i.e. Pierre Galaup de Chasteuil (d. 1727), on the Troubadours (p. 1) and on the Courts of Love (p. 11), written in the 18th cent.
Probably originally written in about A.D. 1710. The letters begg. 'Madame, à mon retour de Barventaire', 'Monsieur, il y a trois ou quatre ans.'.
