At fol. 153v in a different hand is a genealogy of'the Zabarella family from about 1200 to about 1450, compiled by Jacobus Zabarella, for whom this volume was probably written and illuminated, the Zabarella arms being on the illuminated border on fol. 1, see fol. 154r.
