'Exemplar hic incipit tabule sine temporum fasciculi in monasterij [sancti Johannis Evangeliste] Colcestrensis sacra ede pendentis:' beg. 'Caput mundi. Prima die mundi creatus est mundus:' a short chronicle to A.D. 1382, written in A.D. 1526, and here copied not long after. It is divided into seven parts:

  1. General
  2. Monastic orders
  3. 'Construcciones quorundam monasteriorum'
  4. 'Bellum regum Anglorum'
  5. 'Obitus quorumdam regum Anglie'
  6. 'De Colecestria et Coele'
  7. 'Qualiter cenobium Colcestriese inceperit' and 'de obitu abbatum huius ecclesie.'

The parchment cover bears a large coloured initial.
