'This is a Catalogue of the library of Dr [John?] Taylor [LL.D. ?] of St. John's [Cambridge]. He left his books to the school of Shrews bury: except MSS. or with MS. notes, to Dr Askew', Farmer's note. The books are divided in classes, and appear to be all printed, and none to be later than about 1740. At fol. 45v rev. are some notes about the Cambridge University library, chiefly from the Registers of the University. Much of the volume is blank.
