  3. (fols. 7-8) Diary. London, 27 Sep-1 Oct 1840. Formerly folded inside MS. M. Deneke Mendelssohn g. 7.
  4. (fols. 9-10) 'Hieroglyphe', drawn for 'The Family Chronicle, Wednesday June 22 1842' for the Beneckes, Denmark Hill, London. Explanatory verses in another hand.
  5. (fol. 14) List of 14 cantatas by J.S. Bach. F. Mendelssohn Bartholdy's favourites are marked with a cross. Sent with a letter to his family in Berlin, 18-20 May 1830 (Sämtliche Briefe, 299).
  6. (fols. 15-23) Accounts on loose leaves, not all dated, including entries in Cécile's hand. Sep 1838, May 1843, 1845.
