General correspondence on affairs of the Group: appointments, space and facilities, purchase and installation of machines, budgets, research proposals.
The first Head of Computing was R.F. Herzog and the material includes plans, reports and newsletters circulated by him both for the Heidelberg Laboratory and for the Hamburg and Grenoble outstations.
