Folder H.36. Papers and correspondence, 1973-1975, on heating system. The original plans envisaged heating by pipeline from a plant operated by Stadtwerke Heidelberg. The Laboratory eventually had an independent gas heating system. The ensuing delays and alterations led to a rise in costs.
Folder H.37. Correspondence, notes, plans, calculations relating to animal house, 1973-1981. Mainly on early designs and requirements, but includes some later material on organisation and running of animal house.
Folder H.38. Correspondence and papers on Laboratory Planning Group set up by Kendrew to discuss technical problems likely to arise during planning. Notes of meeting 5 July 1974.

Folder H.43. Expert working group, appointed to supervise and comment on progress of construction; correspondence, 1975-1979, mainly with C. Grosgurin about P4 installation. Includes final report of working group.
