The Rede Lecture - Cambridge University, May 1954. Manuscript and corrected typescript with extensive background notes and correspondence. Folder includes working notes for a similar earlier lecture given to the Bristol Theological Society on 'Relation of religion to science' in 1953, on which Coulson based his Rede Lecture.

The Second Scott Lidgett Memorial Lecture, sponsored by the Free Church Federal Council, Bristol, March 1957. Manuscript and corrected typescript, correspondence. Folder includes correspondence with the editor of The Nation for whom Coulson wrote an article 'Moral responsibilities in the atomic age'; the article was never published.

Manuscript of address to World Council of Churches, New York, and shorter version as published in Christian Education, 1963.

Transcript of sermon, with same title, preached at Wesley Church, Cambridge, October 1973. This Church was where Coulson preached many of his early sermons as a graduate student and Fellow of Trinity College 1931-1936.
