Folder 'Book/October 2001' containing [incomplete] printed fair [draft] copies of poems for The Lost Leader, 'Version of 19/10/01'. Includes poem 'Solomon'.
Folder 'Poems & Fragments' containing various autograph manuscript and typescript drafts and fair copies of poems, some with additional notes, including 'Solomon', 'Prison' and poems from Birthmarks; also notes for 'In Memoriam Alfred Lord Tennyson', c. 1980s-1990s.
Folder containing manuscript notes and typescript and manuscript drafts of poems including 'I Have a Dream', 'The Drinking Race', 'The Irish Team', 'Brawl in Co. Kerry', 'Talking to Him', 'Doing It', 'Cheers', 'Over the Top', 'Semi Final', 'Breaking Bread with Stanley Spencer', 'Solomon', 'Cockney', 'The Mountaineer', 'Justice', 'Clio's', 'Samson's Revenge', 'Insomnia', 'Silver Medals', 'Tusking', 'Goldilocks' and 'The Counties of England', some with comments in another hand [?John Fuller]; also draft content lists for possible collections; notes and drafts of 'Poetical Lexicon' [c.1993] [= closed]; and correspondence regarding writer-in-residency [1987].
