1922 General Election:-

  1. Sound Government: Unionist Party Policy. Points from the Election Address and the Speech, at Glasgow, on October 26, 1922, of the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. A. Bonar Law. [Format: pamphlet, 7 pp.] This manifesto took the form of the party leader's election address, as opposed to a standalone publication. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/17;

1923 General Election:-

  1. Mr Baldwin's Election Address. General Election 1923. [Format: A4 photocopy, 4 pp.] This manifesto took the form of the party leader's election address, rather than a standalone publication. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/1.

1924 General Election:-

  1. Mr. Stanley Baldwin's Election Address. [Format: pamphlet, 16 pp.] This manifesto took the form of the party leader's election address, as opposed to a standalone publication. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/18;
  2. Mr. Stanley Baldwin's Election Address. [Format: small pamphlet, 16 pp.] This is an alternative version of PUB 155/18. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/19.

1929 General Election:-

  1. Mr. Stanley Baldwin's Election Address. [Format: small pamphlet, 30 pp.] This manifesto took the form of the party leader's election address, as opposed to a standalone publication. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/20;

1931 General Election:-

  1. Mr Baldwin's Manifesto. [Format: A4 photocopy, 3 pp.] Due to the unusual circumstances of the election, this manifesto took the form of an address to party members. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/2.

1935 General Election:-

  1. A Call To The Nation: The Joint Manifesto of the Leaders of the National Government. [Format: pamphlet, 30 pp.] No Conservative manifesto was issued in 1935. Instead, party leader Stanley Baldwin produced a join manifesto with the other leaders of the National Government, Ramsay Macdonald and Sir John Simon. In addition to the joint leaders' address, this pamphlet also includes a section on the National Government's education reforms. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/3.

1945 General Election:-

  1. Mr Churchill's Declaration of Policy to the Electors. [Format: pamphlet, 20 pp.]. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/4.

1950 General Election:-

  1. This is the Road - the Conservative and Unionist Party's Policy. [Format: pamphlet, 22 pp.] Item shelfmark: PUB 155/5.

1951 General Election:-

  1. The Manifesto of the Conservative and Unionist Party. [Format: pamphlet, 7 pp.] Item shelfmark: PUB 155/9.

1955 General Election:-

  1. United for Peace and Progress: The Conservative and Unionist Party's Policy. [Format: pamphlet, 32 pp.]. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/6/1.
  2. United for Peace and Progress: A Short Version of the Conservative & Unionist Party's Policy. [format: leaflet, 4 pp.] This leaflet provided voters with a summary of the manifesto's key pledges. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/6/2.

1959 General Election:-

  1. The Next Five Years: The Manifesto of the Conservative & Unionist Party. [Format: leaflet manifesto, 4 pp.] Item shelfmark; PUB 155/7/1
  2. The Next Five Years: Points from the Manifesto of the Conservative and Unionist Party. [Format: leaflet, 4 pp.] Although presented as a summary leaflet, the text is identical to that of the manifesto, above. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/7/2.

1964 General Election:-

  1. Prosperity with a Purpose. [Format: pamphlet, 31 pp.] Item shelfmark: PUB 155/12/1.
  2. Prosperity with a Purpose. [Format: fold-out leaflet.] This was a summary leaflet outlining the key pledges in the full manifesto. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/12/2.
  3. Wales with the Conservatives. [Format: fold-out leaflet.] Manifesto supplement for Wales. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/12/3.
  4. Scotland with the Unionists. [Format: fold-out leaflet.] Manifesto supplement for Scotland. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/12/4.

1966 General Election:

  1. Action Not Words: The New Conservative Programme. [Format: pamphlet, 16 pp.] Item shelfmark: PUB 155/14a
  2. Action For Scotland: A Tory Manifesto. [Format: pamphlet, 6 pp.] Manifesto supplement for Scottish voters. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/21;
  3. Action for the West Country. [Format: pamphlet, 8 pp.] Manifesto supplement for voters in the West Country, including list of Conservative candidates in West Country seats. Item shelfmark: PUB 155/22;
